Homeopathy or homoeopathy, as you wish, was first practiced by an allopathic physician called Samuel Hahnemann in the late eighteenth century. The principle behind the treatment was to treat like with like but in very small doses.

In his day Hahnemann was worried about the heavy doses of medication being used and the deaths being caused, So he started giving smaller and smaller doses until he realised that the immune system of the body could be stimulated, to the reversal of it’s symptoms, with infinitesimal doses, and that’s homeopathy today.

The remedies are prepared homeopathically by taking the substance your body is reacting to and diluting it in distilled water until there is only the essence of the substance, untraceable scientifically.

Because the dose is minute, it is looked upon by traditional medicine as ineffective. I assure you it is not.
